Good value for this price

I love having percussion elements around to layer into songs. After upgrading my dedicated percussion mic, I realized that most of my (cheap) shakers sound a bit off. A bit of research yielded this as an affordable professional option. I am absolutely not disappointed - the sound is clean and not too stingy in the high frequencies but also not to bottom-heavy. The build of the shaker is nice and invite the playing of interesting patterns. I'd buy it again any day, and next time earlier.

The only slight downside is that I'd prefer the feeling of a different material at the grip point. But I guess that's reserved for when you spend more money!
