With the Ibanez RG550-EB Electric Blue from the Genesis Collection, Ibanez returns to the roots of the RG from 1987. True-to-original shaping and Hardware authentically reproduce the famous Super Strats of the Japanese guitar maker from the late eighties and ensure the unmistakable look and sound of the classic guitar that is still popular today. An ultra-slim 'Super Wizard' neck made of maple and walnut provides the technical basis for shredding at the speed of light, while the combination of V7/V8 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position plus an additional S1 single coil in the middle ensures a diverse sound spectrum with plenty of steam. Naturally, the Ibanez Edge tremolo system with locking saddle , which was freshly introduced at the time, is a must on a genuine RG550!
Amazing guitar probably the only S style with a mapple fretboard, a nice color, 3 pick ups and a PERFECT edge floyd rose.
Was very disappointed with the shipping of this guitar (almost to the point of being angry). It came in 2 boxes and the inner box was loose and jumping all the way from Germany to Portugal. Its a 800 euro guitar with Japanese craftmenship and you guys send it like this?. Probably won´t buy any more from musicstore. I also contacted musicstore before the guitar was shipped to I could make sure you guys would package it properly.... i guess I should have called again.
