Warwick

Warwick was founded by Hans Peter Wilfer in 1982 in Pretzfeld, Upper Franconia. As the son of Framus founder Fred Wilfer, he is no newcomer to the industry. One of Warwick's first works is the Buzzard bass, which was created in 1985 in cooperation with John Entwistle of The Who. Ten years later, Warwick relocated from Franconia to Markneukichen in Saxony. Since 1995, Hans Peter Wilfer has been taking care of the continued existence of the Framus brand. Among the most famous musicians who play Warwick instruments are: Adam Clayton from U2, T.M. Stevens, Bootsy Collins, Sam Rivers from Limp Bizkit, Larry Graham and Jack Bruce from Cream. About Warwick

Warwick manufactures more than just high-quality basses. In order to appeal to those musicians who are not shopping in the top price segment, Warwick introduced the Rockbass series. Through close cooperation with endorsers, the manufacturer has often made a splash, for example with the amps and combos developed by Jonas Hellborg.

Basses from Warwick

The Rockbass series provides Chinese-made instruments for ambitious beginners. The affordable Pro and Artist series are followed by the German-made Corvette, Streamer and Thumb series basses. The Signature models show what craftsmanship can achieve and combine consummate low-end sound with perfect playability.

Besides the affordable combos of the WBC series, Warwick produces some interesting tops with integrated compressor and graphic EQs optimised for the bass range. The heads and cabinets of the Jonas Hellborg series satisfy even the highest sound demands.
