Indiscutivelmente o modelo mais famoso da linha Fender, a Fender Player Stratocaster PF Sea Foam Green recebe uma versão tradicional do clássico com detalhes modernos. A Fender Player Stratocaster possui três potentes bobinas simples da série Player com ímanes Alnico V para tons de Strat nítidos e claros, e o seu circuito clássico com Master Volume e dois botões Tone evocam tons de Strat típicos de todas as posições. Outras características da Fender Player Stratocaster incluem um tremolo sincronizado de 2 pontos para sons vibrato, afinadores fundidos sólidos e precisos e um pickguard clássico de três camadas, enquanto a porca de osso sintético promove sons ricos em ataque e ressonantes.

Perfect strat sound. Note that these Alnico V pickups are very low output, specially compared with ceramic ones as used in the old mexican standards, but they sound better and more defined to me. You can always get the "old" sound by backing down the tone knob a bit and increasing amp gain.
The show stealer for me is the neck. It's soo smooth that you'll have to try it to believe, it's almost too slippery! Fret work is fine, no rolled edges at this price point though, but well finished anyway.
The only negative is that the guitar was not intonated right. It was obvious as soon as I took it off the box, all the saddles were aligned, no one made even an attempt at it. It's no big deal for anyone that knows what they are doing, you only need a screw driver and a good hear, but as this guitar is also marketed to beginners, I'm guessing a lot of buyers won't know why the guitar sounds out of tune the higher you go on the fretboard.
That neck though, 6 stars.
