The Antares Punch Evo (Licence) is a Dynamics Processor Plug-In for improving the audibility of vocal recordings in the overall mix. It modifies the dynamic properties of vocal recordings to bring it forward of the other instruments with more clarity and density. The basis for this is a mixture of Compression, Input Gain, Limiting and Overload Protection. The user interface is designed for ease of use and does without confusing additional features. However, with this plug-in you can make professional and clearly audible improvements.

With this plug-in, any voice recording that has been recorded sufficiently well will be more effective in front of the track's instruments and will cut through the remaining tones with clear clarity, without overdriving.
The interface is reduced to the most necessary elements, namely 3x controls and 2x signal level displays. The Gain knob controls the boost of the raw signal. The Impact slider will determine the degree of additional 'power' the vocal recording should receive. Here not only the overall signal is increased, but also volume fluctuations are adjusted. The Ceiling control attenuates the signal after the rest of the processing. Although the Punch Evo plug-in already protects it from clipping and distortion, a small amount of damping can be added here to leave room for post-processing when signal boosting occurs again.
Editing is easy: Use these 3x options to adjust your vocal track until the output level meter stops showing overdriving and the sound is where you want it. This gives you maximum control over the result with a short training period.
