Oscillator Controller
The modular system once developed by Robert "Bob" Moog, including its development process, went through a long production period between 1964 and 1981. At that time, the novel, electronic instrument was an avant-garde pioneering work that still had to be explained to the public; but ultimately found more and more interested parties. Behringer has transferred the generously dimensioned dimensions to the compact Eurorack format and paid close attention to ensuring that sound and function are in no way inferior to the cult object.
The Behringer 992 Control Voltages Oscillator Controller does exactly what its nickname emphasizes, it controls oscillators. Ideally, this module is located between the keyboard or sequencer and the oscillators. The red switches determine whether or not the applied voltages are passed through to the outputs. This can be done in such a way that each input "fires" the output below it or all three outputs are supplied by input 1. For example, an LFO is applied to the "Ext Input", which is dosed with the rotary control and affects all actively switched tone generators. So that the setting does not always have to be found anew, it can be (de)activated with the blue switch.
