The Behringer NX3000 power amplifier is an ultra-light 3000 watt class D power amplifier with SmartSense technology. The amplifier has a total power of 3000 watts (2 x 1500 watts @ 2 ohms; 2 x 900 watts @ 4 ohms; .3000 watts in 4 ohms bridge mode), despite this strong power the amplifier weighs only 3.5 kg and is of course mountable in a 19" rack. Due to the special design of the Behringer NX3000, no heavy heat sinks or toroidal transformers are required anymore. Therefore, a lot of weight can be saved. Behringer's revolutionary High-Density-Class-D technology has built in a highly efficient switching power supply that ensures that this feather-light powerhouse will power your speakers effortlessly for many years.
Thanks to Behringer's high-density class D amplifier technology, enormous power and incredible sound performance can be accommodated in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight amplifier. Class D amplification makes the difference and offers maximum energy efficiency. This amazing technology makes it possible to develop and build extremely powerful products while consuming less energy.
The controls and indicators on the front panel provide the vital functions of the Behringer NX3000 at a glance. After pressing the power button, the power LED lights to indicate that the amplifier is ready for use. All channels have gain controls with signal LEDs that light up when a signal is present and limit LEDs that indicate when the amplifier is running at full capacity. Just as elegant as the front panel are the combo inputs on the rear panel, which make the NX3000 compatible with virtually any source, balanced or unbalanced. Professional Speaker Twist speaker jacks are built in, ensuring a secure connection between power amplifier and speaker. On the rear panel are also the switches that can be used to operate the NX3000 amplifier in dual-mono, stereo or mono bridge modes.
The new SmartSense technology offers a significantly improved full-range frequency response with more powerful dynamic bass and smoother high-frequency reproduction.
