Tube combo with two channels, EL84 power amp tubes and 1x12" speaker
With the HT-20RH MKIIICombo, Blackstar launches the latest version of its HT amp series and combines classic tube sound with modern features for practical use in live, studio and home applications. With two ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes, the HT-20RH MKIII combo has a maximum output of 20 watts and provides enough power on two channels for warm clean sounds through to rich tube overdrive. The 3-band EQ can be used to fine-tune sound preferences, while the ISF control (Infinite Shape feature) can be used to adjust the sound character continuously from 0 (US sound) to 10 (UK sound).
Further features of the HT-20RH MKIII
The HT-20RH doesn't just rely on a rich tube sound, but also offers several features that make studio and home use easier: In addition to line-in and Line-Out, there is a headphone input as well as a footswitch connection and an effects loop for seamless integration of external effects pedals. The HT-20RH Combo provides a USB-C socket for direct recording of the amp, making it easy to record in the studio or at home. The amp also comes with an XLR output and three speaker outputs with an impedance of 8 to 16 ohms. If the amp is only to be used for quieter practice sessions at home and not all the power is needed, the output can be reduced from 20 to 2 watts using a practical switch.
