The Loop Station RC-1 from Boss – as simple as it gets!

In the early days of Loop Recorders the devices were packed full of functions and features, recently however the trend has leaned more towards more compact devices and simpler operation. Boss is following this trend with their RC-1 Loop Recorder and is presenting a compact and easy to use pedal.

Despite the simple handling of the RC-1, Boss has not foregone fresh and innovative features. As a result this pedal features a round Loop display which allows you to instantly follow the progression of the loop, regardless if you are in the recording/overdub or playback mode. To ensure optimal playback, the RC-1 possesses stereo in and outputs, allowing the sound to be played over a stereo system. Naturally this also means that stereo instruments such as synthesizers or keyboards can be used to record loops. With 12 minutes of recording time, you have plenty of time to loop whatever you want.
