Dual Micro Mixer (2x3)

The Doepfer A-138u Dual Micro Mixer (2x3) is an easy-to-use dual mixer that features 3x inputs and a single output in each. The top mixer has a trimming potentiometer per input that can be employed as an attenuator whilst allowing for the adjustment of amplification range between 0...+1. This is only true of the 3rd input in the lower section. The default setting is amplification = 1 for all inputs.

The upper unit’s output is normalised to the 1st input of the lower unit. This means the module can alternatively be used as a mixer with 5x inputs: for this Inputs 1, 2 and 3 of the upper unit and Inputs 2 and 3 of the lower unit are used. The sum output for all 5x signals then becomes the output of the lower section. Return the module to a dual 3-in-1 mixer again by inserting a plug into Input 1 of the lower section.

Audio and control signals can be mixed (In/Outputs are DC coupled).
