With the Duesenberg D-Bass Fretless Black, Duesenberg presents a fretless four-string electric bass that stands out from the crowd with its chic Art Déco design and delivers versatile sounds with striking vintage colouring. The E-Bass offers an alder body and a screwed maple neck, while a combination of Duesenberg toaster pickup and passive electronics with mid-shape control takes over the tone conversion. High-quality Duesenberg hardware with sophisticated functionality completes the Duesenberg D-Bass.

The Duesenberg D-Bass Fretless Black has a classic alder body with a vaulted top which, thanks to the elegant off-set shaping, allows unimpeded access to the high positions of the fourfold bolted neck made of Canadian maple. With the perfect proportions of its"D" profile, it fits comfortably in the hand, so that any groove can easily be heard on the fretless rosewood fingerboard. The typical Duesenberg look is further enhanced by the tasteful Art Déco elements, which give the 4-string bass an independent elegance.
The Duesenberg Toaster Bass Pickup delivers versatile vintage sounds in conjunction with the passive mid-shape tone control.
The Duesenberg D-Bass 5 uses a Duesenberg "toaster" humbucker in the middle position as pickup, which delivers a distinctive sound with a clear vintage character. With a firm bass foundation, pressing mids and a silky treble spectrum, the amplifier provides an assertive bass tone that lays the perfect foundation for classic styles of blues and rock. In addition, the Duesenberg D Bass is equipped with a passive mid-shape control which, in conjunction with the classic tone potentiometer, allows precise adjustment of the sound image.
Duesenberg Z-Tuner promise a precise and stable tuning of the D Bass.
The Duesenberg D-Bass 5 is completed by high-quality hardware equipment from our own company, which combines elegant design with well thought-out functionality. The two-piece Duesenberg Bass Bridge not only supports the response and sustain of the D-Bass, but also offers three-dimensional adjustable string riders for the perfect string position. From the bridge, the strings are led with the classic 34" Longscale scale (864 mm) in the direction of the top bar, where Duesenberg Z-Tuner promises a precise and stable tuning.
