The Earthquaker Devices Acapulco Gold V2 is an analogue power amp distortion pedal featuring an output control, true bypass switching and power supply provided by a 9V DC adapter. The Acapulco Gold is a simple distortion unit based on the power section of a cranked vintage Sunn Model T. This offers the openness, clarity, and crunch that only a dimed tube amp can provide. The footswitch turns the pedal on and off, and the giant knob controls the output volume. The Acapulco Gold is all-analogue, true bypass and built one-at-a-time in Akron, Ohio.
