The Fame single pedal FP9001-B is a professionally equipped bass drum pedal for advanced drummers and professionals with blue lacquered base plate. Due to its unbeatable price-performance ratio, this pedal is also affordable for beginners. The extremely robust construction nevertheless offers flexible adjustment options, which gives this Fame pedal top marks in terms of performance and durability. The 2-Way Beater is driven by a double chain. The angle of the Splitboard footboard is adjustable independently of the angle of the beater and the spring tension. A robust hoop clamp is laterally fixed and equipped with a rubber protector for the hoop. The Fame single pedal is firmly held by spikes that can be unscrewed and a Velcro strap is located under the blue base plate.
The footboard of the Fame single pedal FP9001-B is attached to robust, extremely strong double columns and suspended from the axle with a stable double chain. The Splitboard footboard is divided into two areas by a stable joint. It is very resistant and has a profile to prevent the foot from slipping during fast passages.
Under the pedal is a heavy, attractive blue base plate. This provides for a better stability. Should the pedal tend to slip anyways, it can be additionally secured on the carpet with two spikes that can be adjusted. In the unlikely event that this is not enough either, there is an additional Velcro strip under the base plate, which is firmly anchored to any type of textile surface.
The sophisticated design of the Fame FP9001-B pedal allows for a wide range of settings to adapt the pedal perfectly to your personal requirements. With the spring tension the strength of the resistance can be regulated, thus also response and speed of the pedal can be adjusted. The spring tension can also be used to determine how fast or slow the bass drum pedal should rebound. With a soft setting, hardly any resistance can be felt on the foot, whereas a hard setting makes the pedal stick to the foot and enables higher speeds.
To achieve even more speed and power, pedal and beater angles can be adjusted independently of each other. For more power you choose a relatively large pedal angle, for more speed a flat one. With the Hoop Clamp the FP9001-B pedal is attached to the tension hoop of the bass drum. The fixing screw for the Hoop Clamp is located at the side of the pedal, so you don't have to reach under the pedal just to pinch your fingers there. The Hoop Clamp has rubber protectors on both sides so that the sensitive wooden hoop of the bass drum is not damaged.
