Accordingly, the flowery " Black Paisley " Nitro finish conceals an alder body with three hand-wound Single Coil pickups that promise versatile sounds on the guitar amplifier, while the screwed maple neck with the "1963 C" profile lies optimally in the hand. The Fender 2018 '68 Limited Edition Black Paisley Strat Relic was designed according to Custom Shop the exact specifications of 1968, with the two-piece alder body wrapped in the psychedelic " Black Paisley " nitrocellulose finish, while the bolt-on maple neck is painted with robust polyurethane and carries a glued " Round Laminated " " maple fingerboard. The not too strong "1963 C" profile in combination with the fingerboard radius of 9.5" (241 mm) offers optimum playability.

The pickups are controlled as usual by a 5-way blade switch, master volume and two tone controls.
