Thanks to more than 60 years of innovation, inspiration and evolution, the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster meets the highest demands of modern musicians. The alder body offers a well-balanced resonance behavior and makes it possible to skillfully cover almost all genres. The maple neck is securely and stably connected to the body thanks to the typical four-way bolt-on design with a newly shaped neck plate. A 42.8 mm bone nut is connected to the rounded rosewood fretboard, which has a radius of 9.5" and is fitted with 22 narrow-tall frets. Thanks to the classic Stratocaster design, the American Professional II feels familiar from the very first note and impresses with its great tonal versatility. Thanks to its fundamental improvements, this Fender sets a new standard for professional musical instruments.

Three new V-Mod II Stratocaster single-coil pickups provide the typical articulate, clear-as-a-bell Strat sound.
V-Mod II pickups & tonal versatility
The three in-house V-Mod II Stratocaster single-coil pickups provide a powerful, balanced, crisp and clear sound with plenty of vintage warmth. This tonal versatility can be further extended using the 5-way switch, allowing either the individual single coils or two adjacent pickups to be controlled. Fender has given the American Professional II a master volume and two tone controls to control this range of sounds quickly and conveniently. The second of the two tone controls has a push/push functionwith which the neck pickup can be activated in positions 1 and 2, creating two further pickup combinations that are not normally found on a Stratocaster.
The improved 2-point tremolo provides pleasant tremolo action and enhances the brilliance and musical sparkle in the treble.
2-point tremolo
The 2-point tremolo fitted to the American Professional II has vintage-stylestring riders and has been optimized with a cold-rolled steel block, which also extends the sustain and supports striking, crystal-clear trebles. The Tremolo scores with high tuning stability and is easy to adjust.
Comfortable and quick to play
The "Deep C" neck profile, which is slim at the nut and thickens towards the body, creates a comfortable, natural feel, ideal for chords and single notes. In addition, the newly designed neck heel allows for a comfortable grip, especially in high positions, and together with the hand-rounded fingerboard edges ensures great playing comfort.
