The Fender American Professional Precision Bass Lefthand RW Black represents a combination of melody and rhythm that has helped fill dancefloors for generations. This 4-string electric bass guitar contains a single Michael Bump V-Mod Split-Coil Precision Bass pickup that uses alnico 5 magnets on the treble side and alnico 2 on the bass side. This combination delivers the classic tone you have come to associate with this model, without neglecting the vintage warmth and crisp, clear tone that is synonymous with this brand.
A ’63 Precision Bass neck profile is considered one of the most accessible and fluid of all profiles by professional bass guitarists, so Fender have included it with this range again. A slick satin finish on the back of the neck gives the player a comfortable and smooth feel for their fret-hand. For enhanced sustain and tuning stability, a HiMass Vintage bridge is included with this Precision Bass along with fluted-shaft tuning machines that force the string windings downwards to keep them tight. Each guitar comes with an Elite moulded hardshell case for transport or storage safety.
