With the Malibu Player, the traditional manufacturer Fender presents a compact acoustic guitar that is ideally suited for both the couch and the stage. Accordingly, a solid Sitka spruce top sits on a laminated body of mahogany and resonates with the handy Fender Malibu body with clear basses, radiant and nuanced midrange and brilliant highs. The balanced sound with striking midrange is ideal for fingerstyle.
In addition, a shortened scale length of 612mm and a flat Slim-C neck profile ensure comfortable playability, which should appeal especially to electric guitarists. Anyone who knows the legendary Fender Stratocaster neck should immediately feel at home on this neck.
The Fender Malibu Classic also features a Fishman pickup with built-in tuner, 2-band equalizer and phase switch, providing the naturally mature sound for the stage.
