The Fender Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster® Electric Guitar, Olympic White is a Ritchie Blackmore signature guitar based on Blackmore’s favourite ’70s model.
Ritchie Blackmore found fame for his innovative blend of classical and blues styles, as well as his songwriting and playing in bands such as Deep Purple and Rainbow. His signature Fender Stratocaster features an alder body with a maple neck in a 'U'-shaped profile. The neck is topped by a rosewood fingerboard with 21 graduated scalloped frets.
The Blackmore Strat's sounds come from a pair of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Flat pickups, with the pickup in the middle position being a 'dummy' that is screwed down to the guitar and not is use, just like on Ritchie's 1970s original.
The vintage '70s look of the Blackmore Stratocaster is complete with its ’70s-style “F” tuners and '70s style decal. The Blackmore Stratocaster comes with a deluxe gigbag.
