Every last detail of the Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster Relic RW Faded 3-Color Sunburst matches the Stratocaster that the late Texas Blues Hero developed in collaboration with the Fender Custom Shop. This electric guitar features an alder body and a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and strong "C" profile. When plugged into an amp, three hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single-coils provide the scorching sounds of Texas blues without diluting the typical vintage Strat character. Naturally the Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster Relic is equipped with the Hendrix-inspired lefthand tremolo, whose lever can be operated with the elbow to authentically recreate the playing techniques of Texas blues.

The basis of the Fender Custom Shop Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster is a selection of classic and high-quality woods which work together to promote the lively sound of the electric guitar. The body is made of lightweight alder, whereas the bolt-on neck is made of rift-sawn maple for increased stability thanks to the standing annual rings. The strong "Special SRV Oval C" neck profile and the 12" radius of the rosewood fingerboard guarantee comfortable playing.

Handwound Texas Special Single-Coils

The Fender Custom Shop has chosen three hand-wound Texas Special Single-Coils for the Fender SRV Strat. Equipped with Alnico V magnets and authentic Enamel wire, these powerful overwound pickups deliver a scorching sound that, with its tight bass foundation, wide midrange and crystalline highs, provides the perfect foundation for the licks of Texas blues. As usual, the pickups are controlled by a 5-way blade switch, master volume control and two tone pots, providing a wide range of tones.

American Vintage Lefthand Synchronized Tremolo

The Fender Stevie Vaughan Signature Stratocaster is equipped with a Fender American Vintage Lefthand Synchronized Tremolo inspired by Vaughan's personal guitar hero Jimi Hendrix. The lever mounted on the left-hand side of the bridge allows the tremolo to be operated with the elbow while playing to create smooth transitions to the harmonic vibrato. The headstock features a bone nut and six Fender vintage-style tuners for stable and accurate tuning even when the tremolo system is used frequently.
