The Gibson Les Paul Standard 2016 HP DB Gold Top from the 2016 High Performance Line-Up offers the futuristic advantages of the 2014 and 2015 models. Accordingly, the Singlecut electric guitar has a wide 44 mm wide fretboard on the Zero Fret-groove made of titanium and the proven G-Force tuning system, making quick tuning or re-tuning child's play. Equipped with Burstbucker Pro humbuckers, the Gibson Les Paul Standard 2106 HP also delivers classic humbucker sounds that follow in the footsteps of the legendary PAFS. Transparent highs, vocal mids and warm basses provide an airy reproduction that is just as suitable for singing blues as for burning rock. The one-piece mahogany neck with asymmetrical slim taper profile and the compound radius of the rosewood fingerboard ensure a high level of playing comfort that is particularly suited to modern techniques. Last but not least, the grain of the solid AAAA-quality curly maple top is perfectly highlighted by the gold top finish.
