The Ibanez Prestige AZ2402L-PWF Pearl White Flat Lefthand is the perfect tool for the modern guitarist looking for a premium electric guitar to implement the most virtuosic playing techniques in a rock, fusion or jazz context. Here, the ergonomically designed alder body and bolt-on S-Tech wood neck offer unobstructed playability, while custom-designed Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups with dyna-MIX10 circuitry provide versatile tones with lively articulation. In addition, the Ibanez AZ2402L features a high-quality Gotoh T1802 tremolo with titanium tailpieces and Gotoh H.A.P. locking tuners.
For the ergonomically curved body of the Ibanez AZ2402L Ibanez chooses the classic alder wood, whereby wide cutaways and the "Super All Access Neck Joint" make even the highest registers easily accessible. The absolute highlight of the Ibanez AZ2402L, however, is without a doubt the bolt-on neck made of S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple. This maple wood is thermally treated in a pure nitrogen atmosphere, making it insensitive to climate changes and gaining excellent resonance. The medium-bodied "AZ Oval C" profile fits comfortably in the hand, so that between the 24 jumbo-sized stainless steel frets, any song, no matter how complex, can be played comfortably from the fingers. Fluorescent side dots allow optimal orientation even on the darkest stages.
For optimal tone conversion, none other than Seymour Duncan contributes the pickups of the Ibanez AZ2402L. The Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers in neck and bridge position convince with a moderately increased output and a balanced output of all frequencies, so that in connection with the lively dynamics expressive electric guitar playing is supported in the best way. The coils of the pickup different combinations are selected with the help of the 5-way blade switch, whereby thanks to dyna-MIX10 circuit additional options can be called up. When the "Alter" switch is pressed, one coil of each humbucker is "tapped" with a reduced number of windings, so that thinned-out, finely resolved timbres are available.
Last but not least, the Ibanez Prestige AZ2402L-PWF Pearl White Flat Lefthand convinces with a first-class hardware equipment. The bridge used is the Gotoh T1802 tremolo, which was specially developed for the Ibanez AZ series and features titanium tailpieces and a solid steel block to enhance the sound. With string spacing of 10,5 mm it also supports the optimal touch technique. At the headstock, the strings are also guided via a bone saddle to the Gotoh Magnum Lock H.A.P. tuners, whose height-adjustable winding axles guarantee optimal string pressure.
