With the Ibanez j.custom JCRG11R-GTE Golden Tiger Eye, the Custom Guitar Craft Division of the traditional Japanese company presents a version of the popular RG electric guitar designed for particularly comfortable playability, which sets absolute standards with the finest woods, high-quality hardware and flawless workmanship.
The Ibanez j.custom JCRG11R-GTE Golden Tiger Eye combines highest craftsmanship and noble materials to an outstanding playable guitar.
Optimum playability
With its body made of African mahogany, which is about 2% smaller than the standard model and crowned by a noble top made of solid curly maple, the Ibanez j.custom JCRG11 has a particularly easy handling, which is supported by the butter-soft playability of the 24.75" (628 mm) long scale length. The three-piece maple/wenge neck with its well-contoured "EX-U" profile nestles in the hand and thus offers the perfect basis for fast riffs and virtuoso solos.
The body of the Ibanez j.custom JCRG11R-GTE Golden Tiger Eye is about 2% smaller than the standard RG and offers a comfortable handling.
j.custom Humbucker
The Ibanez j.custom JCRG11R-GTE Golden Tiger Eye uses two Ibanez JCRG11 humbuckers as pickups, which are especially tuned for this guitar and convince with their rock sounds. The neck pickup with Alnico III magnet delivers a warm sound that represents melodies and solos with singing articulation, while the bridge pickup with Alnico V magnet moves forward with natural dynamics and riffs with precise reproduction.
At the headstock of the Ibanez j.custom JCRG11R-GTE the strings are held by Gotoh tuners.
hardware
The classic Ibanez Edge Double Locking Vibrato of the Ibanez j.custom RG takes even the deepest dive bombs and aggressive whammy bar attacks without moods and convinces with smooth response and soft handling. At the headstock the strings run over the Top-Lok III clamping saddle to the reliable Gotoh tuners. Gotoh also supplied the Free Lock II seatbelt holders that hold the instrument securely to the belt.
