The KMA Audio Machines Tyler Frequency Splitter is an extremely useful tool for all guitarists and bassists who love to experiment. As an active crossover with high-pass and low-pass filters, each of which are assigned a switchable, buffered effect path, different frequency ranges can be assigned their own effects, so that there are no limits to sophisticated sound innovations. When using the KMA Tyler it is possible to overdrive only the higher frequency ranges of a bass, while a compressor in the low end provides a rich punch, or to play an electric guitar with 2x different effects. With the help of the Mix knob the proportion of both frequency ranges can be continuously mixed.
