For the luxurious neck-through construction of the Regius 6, Mayones uses carefully selected woods that guarantee a first-class look and sound. The heart of the electric guitar is the full-length and extremely robust neck made of maple, mahogany, ovangkol and wenge. The body wings made of swamp ash also carry a top made of curly maple in intensely figured AAA quality. Optimal playing characteristics up to the 24th stainless steel fret of the ebony fingerboard are also guaranteed by the flat D-neck profile with 16" fingerboard radius.

The TKO neck humbucker uses classic Alnico V magnets to deliver an open tone with woody warmth for crystal clear cleans and precisely resolved chords. In the bridge position, meanwhile, the TKO Bridge Humbucker, armed with ceramic magnets, delivers powerful and focused tones that portray every note with absolute precision, even at high gain settings. While the coil split option expands the Regius 6's repertoire of bell-like single coil tones, the treble bleed Circuit on the volume knob prevents unwanted tone loss when turning down the volume.
