With the PRS CE 24 Trampas Green Burst the classic screw neck construction returns to the program of the noble guitar maker from Stevensville, Maryland after being absent for quite some time! This electric guitar combines a mahogany body carrying an intensely grained flamed maple top covered by a chic green satin finish and a maple neck in the comfortable "Pattern Thin" profile with two PRS 85/15 humbuckers and the well-known functional hardware inlcuding a PRS Tremolo and locking tuners to a harmonious instrument that delivers the right guitar sound for almost every genre.
Like all electric guitars made by Paul Reed Smith, the PRS CE24 Satin Trampas Green Burst impresses with its flawless manufacturing using selected woods of the highest quality. The body is made of mahogany, carrying a solid flamed maple top that sets optical accents with its vivid grain whereas the neck, which is attached to the body via four screws, is made of maple and carries a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and the coveted bird inlays. The "Pattern Thin" neck profile in combination with the flat arching of the top promises a high degree of playability for both lead and rhythm guitarists.
The electrical sound conversion of the PRS CE24 Satin Trampas Green Burst is handled by two PRS 85/15 humbuckers, personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to provide a modern sound image for a wide range of guitar playing styles. Accordingly, the pickups impress both on clean and distorted amps with a remarkably transparent reproduction that follows every nuance of your playing with deep but articulated bass, vocal mids and silky sparkle in the highs. In addition, both pickups can be split using the push/pull tone pot, allowing authentic single-coil sounds with bell-like clarity and silvery overtones to significantly expand the tonal range of the PRS CE24. A 3-way toggle switch and master volume control provide further control over the pickups.
Last but not least, the Paul Reed Smith CE24 Satin Trampas Green Burst features high quality hardware developed by PRS themselves, with unlimited functionality. The PRS Designed Tremolo System allows smooth handling to embellish the notes with gently shimmering vibratos. In addition, the system's edge-free surface ensures a comfortable touch. At the headstock, indestructible PRS low-mass locking tuners ensure precise and stable tuning even during frequent tremolo use, while simultaneously making string changes much easier.
