The PRS Custom 24-08 2018 Trampas Green combines the essential features of Paul Reed Smith's 24-flush top model with a particularly versatile coil split circuit for the popular PRS 85/15 Humbucker. In terms of construction, the proven combination of mahogany body with chic curly maple top and glued mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, which with its slim "Pattern Thin" profile offers optimum conditions for a high level of playing comfort, is chosen. Of course, the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 Trampas Green is equipped with the PRS Gen III tremolo and the precise PRS Phase III locking mechanisms.
The PRS Custom 24-08 2018 Trampas Green offers high-quality woods, first-class playing comfort and a wide range of sounds.
The neck and body of the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 are made of mahogany and are glued together.
The construction of the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 Trampas Green uses only high-quality, carefully matched woods that shape the sound and appearance of the electric guitar in equal measure. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a mahogany body with an intensively drawn curly maple top framed by the typical natural binding. The glued mahogany neck in the flat "Pattern Thin" profile also offers the best playing characteristics over the 24-flush rosewood fingerboard.
The PRS 85/15 humbuckers have their own mini-switches for activating the coil split. The PRS Gen III Tremolo convinces with a butter-soft response.
Paul Reed Smith chose two PRS 85/15 humbuckers as pickups for the PRS Custom 24-08. As modern sound converters, these pickups impress with a wide range of sounds, whose fine frequency representation also skillfully translates nuanced playing and guarantees first-class sound experiences in both the clean and overdrive channels. Each pickup can be split via its own miniature switch for single coil splitting, so that in conjunction with the 3-way blade switch for general pickup selection and the master volume and master tone controls, a wide range of different tones can be selected.
Lightweight PRS Phase III clamping mechanisms on the head plate of the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 guarantee a precise and stable tuning.
Naturally, the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 Trampas Green is equipped with hardware from our own production, which combines an attractive design with convenient handling and optimum sound characteristics. The PRS Gen III tremolo on the headstock promises particularly smooth handling for shimmering and expressive pitch modulations, while PRS Phase III locking tuners guarantee a stable and precise tuning. Thanks to their light weight, the mechanisms also effectively counteract head plasticity, so that the PRS Custom 24-08 2018 occupies a balanced playing position both on the belt and on the thigh.
