With the Revv G20, the Canadian amp manufacturer has packed its distinctive high-gain sound into a handy tube top in lunchbox format, which, thanks to the integrated Torpedo Reactive Load, is an ideal and flexible amp for gigs and recording sessions.
Due to the reactive load resistor in the form of the popular Two Notes Torpedo Reactive Load, the guitar amp can also be used for silent recording without a cabinet connected, with six onboard speaker simulations based on Impulse Responses guaranteeing a natural sound experience. In addition to the balanced XLR output, a headphone jack with level control and a serial effects loop complete the Revv G20 Amp.
While the power of the 6V6 amplifier can be reduced from 20 watts to four watts, the two channels of the G20 provide both crystal-clear cleans and powerful high-gain sounds with the typical tightness and transparency, so that even low-tuned extended-range guitars are reproduced precisely. A 3-band EQ, controls for gain and volume as well as wide and aggression switches allow you to adjust the sound quality.
