For the first time, with the TD-4KP, Roland offers a drum set that can be collapsed to a relatively tiny size and so making it easy, comfortable and quick too transport. The conductor of this ultra-compact set is the high-performing TD-4 sound module with 125 drum and percussion sounds. With these features, the TD-4KP delivers the ideal features for use in the practice-room, on small stages or simply for at home. With the TD-4KP E-Drum Set from the popular V-Drums series the company Roland brings the two incompatible appearing topics "E-Drums" and "mobility" to a common denominator, because the V-Drums Portable Series Roland offers a first drumset that lace into a relatively tiny package and transport as convenient, easily and quickly leaves. It must not be omitted, of course on the proven high quality of the Roland V-Drum Series. And even in the assembled state, the TD-4KP V-Drums Portable Electronic Drum Set associated with a footprint of just 1.1 x 1.2 meters the smallest space. Assembly and disassembly make is quite simple: With just a few clicks, the TD-4KP is ready to play, because neither the pads nor the wiring needs to be resolved for the transport.
The powerful TD-4 sound module is the driving force for the ultra-compact TD-4KP V-Drums Portable Set. It includes 125 drum and percussion sounds from all imaginable styles stored in a total of 25 drum kits. The usual high quality sounds can be tuned on the module. With the mixer parameters, further changes in the pad-volume, pan, Kit volume and cross stick volume can be used. Special feature: the TD-4 sound module offers 9 different ambience types to its sounds for the final touch. The backlit LCD display guarantees a quick overview of the settings made. Thanks to Quick Rec function, the module can record the played in real time with a resolution of 96 ticks per quarter note. The overall note memory has a capacity of approximately 9,000 notes. The extensive Coach mode helps in a playful way to improve skills. Besides Warm-Ups, Quiet-Count and Auto-Up/Down exercises, the TD-4 sound module also holds the functions Time and Tempo Check promising learning success after a very short time.
The snare and tom pads have a diameter of 7.5" and are equipped with a padded, rubberized surface and combine a natural feeling with a strong rebound. Crash and hi-hat pad each have two trigger zones, which can be obtained by playing on the edge or on the surface drive. The ride cymbal can even elicit a third sound by increased impact strength. All drum and cymbal pads are connected via practical multicore cable to the sound module.
