The Schlagwerk SKR Rim Shaker is a flexible add-on that is mounted at a 90° angle to a striking surface. The Rim Shaker can be easily attached to any instrument that has an edge with a 90° angle between the striking surface and the sound box thanks to the Velcro fastener. The Rim Shaker consists of two elements, a mounting foot and a plastic block with a fleece buffer in a single-chamber system. This way the shaker is ready to play parallel to the hitting surface. A sliding rubber ring allows the attack to be adjusted when the Rim Shaker is struck. The fleece band at the end protects the hitting surface from scratches and dents.
