The Strymon OB.1 Optical Compressor & Clean Boost Guitar Effects Pedal combines studio quality with transparent analogue optical compression with a Clean Boost with EQ curves that helps you power your amp and reveal its true character. This pedal offers an all-analogue signal path with premium components, a high-impedance input, and very low noise circuitry.

The OB.1 delivers greater than 20dB of gain-compensated compression, as well as an extra 10dB of full-frequency, mid or treble boost with the integrated Clean Boost. The optical compression provided by this pedal preserves your attacks and smooths out the overall signal, bringing out the softer notes. The extremely quiet analogue signal path with a high-quality, low noise op amp and high-impedance input is ideal in front of your high-gain setup.
