The Takamine CTP-3 Cool Tube Preamp for acoustic guitars has been one of the most reliable and distinctive preamps on the market since the late 1990s. It features a 12AU7 tube that lends a saturated warmth to the sound and can be comfortably integrated into the overall signal via a separate control unit. For precise adjustment, the preamp is equipped with a 3-band equaliser that can regulate the bass and treble frequencies and allows the mid frequencies to be adjusted over an extensive range using a semi-parametric.
