The Tama LMP42RTLS-GSE S.L.P. Studio Maple Shell Set is a professional drum set with 100% maple drum shells and wooden hoops on each drum. The sound is warm, deep and very soft thanks to the wooden hoops and the Sound Focus rings used in the shells. The Tama S.L.P drums can be used especially well in the studio, where it convinces with controllable resonance and low basic sound. The drum set consists of a 22"x16" bass drum, 10"x7" + 12"x8" tom-toms and a 16"x16" floor tom as well as a tom-holder. The resonant maple shells of Toms and Floor-Tom consist of 6 layers each with 5 mm thickness, the bass drum of 8 layers maple with 6 mm thickness. The rubber-padded Tama Starclassic lugs, combined with the maple hoops and the Evans G1 heads used in the Tama LMP42RTLS-GSE S.L.P. Studio Maple Shell Set, provide tuning reliability and maximum drum sound.
Beside the now established Tama S.L.P. Snares, which are available for every style and as several innovative models at a fair price, the Japanese company Tama is now also building complete drumsets in the S.L.P. series, which are based on the most successful snare drum models from the series. For different requirements there are now individual drumsets made of high-quality materials with different features for all tastes and styles.
