The ca. 43cm long conically formed handle of the BD1 Soundpower mallets consists of maple, is relatively light-weight and sits very well in the hand. All of the mallets of the Soundpower Series are topped with round, seamless felt heads. The diameter of the BD1 head measures 3-1/4" (ca. 8.3 cm). These characteristics make the BD1 Soundpower mallet the perfect all-rounder.
