Zildjian's Avedis Vintage basins date back to the 1920s and have been reinvented to meet today's requirements. The Avedis series impresses with a well-rehearsed, soft and dynamic feeling and the incomparable vintage patina.
The production of the Avedis series, or A Zildjian, began with the Avedis Zildjian III series, which provided the perfect sound for the varied requirements of popular music from 1930 to the seventies. The focus was on dynamics and control, combined with brilliance and warmth in the sound. The special thing about the Avedis Zildjian III cymbals was the versatile musicality and the groovy feeling they gave the drummer.
