The Beat BarsEX2M is a compact tool that converts input from an expression pedal into MIDI/USB data. The EX2M connects to the computer via USB and is powered at the same time; the pedal is connected on the other side. The free MIDI configuration tool, available for MacOS, Windows and Linux, allows you to define on which channel, which controller with a definable range of values actions are performed. So it's easy to use the EX2M and an expression pedal to control a cutoff parameter in AbletonLive or the effect mix in the DJ software.
