The Behringer NEKKST K8 is a professional nearfield monitor designed to bring true, clean audio to your desktop.
Armed with a 8” glass fibre cone woofer and a 1” silk dome tweeter that are both powered by separate amplifiers in a bi-amping configuration, the NEKKST K8 packs a serious punch for such small speaker. The ultra flat response, amazing dispersion characteristics and large ‘sweet spot’ of the NEKKST K8 monitor is all due to both the use of wave guide technology and to the designer, Keith Klawitter, founder of KRK. This incredible sounding speaker also boasts a high density fibre glass enclosure for improved acoustics and low end performance, separately controlled limiters for HF and LF overload protection, and room adjustment controls.
The Behringer NEKKST K8 input via balanced XLR, balanced ¼” TRS and unbalanced RCA connections.

Nekkst K8 showed themselves as highly precise and correct instrument for mixing and mastering at home studio. You can perfectly hear all the frequency bands with all the nuances as ultra-linear sound-picture while mixing. Firstly, you are to calibrate the monitors to your placement environment and, more of it, calibrate your ear to the specifics of their sounding on the well-known certainly referenced music examples that you are sure in. Then you can confidently make your mixes being absolutely sure that everything you do and hear as clear and good sounding at these monitors will sound great and correct at any other kind of speakers and headphones. In comparison with other same-class monitors Nekkst K8 sounds much more linear, distinctly, precise and clear. More simply, the other same-class monitors seems to me sounding indistinct and smudged after hearing Nekkst K8. After switching on the Nekkst K8 you can hear a slight hiss that doesn't depend upon the gain or connected source of sound but obviously this hiss is a result of working of subcarrier frequency generator because of using the D class amplifiers in these monitors. The value of this hiss does not rise with rising up the common sound volume and does not interfere to work or listening to the music. In fact, some other monitors have much more disturbing hiss. The bass of Nekkst K8 is great but it’s better to have an additional subwoofer such as K10S to achieve more clear mastering results. Nekkst K8 are the best choice for professional and semi-professional mixing and mastering working in the price-quality ratio on my opinion.
I liked these studio monitors, they rather loud, are not present background noise, there are no clicks and cottons at inclusion. There are remarks to assembly, but for such price it is normal. The parcel came in 11 days. With purchase it is happy.
