With a classic alder body and a bolt-on maple neck with ebony fingerboard, the Charvel MJ SAN DIMAS STYLE 1 HSS FR E Black Satin follows the traditional construction method, which promises a balanced basic sound with a powerful Attack for fat solos and riffs. Thanks to its matte back and slim profile, the neck offers high playability even during long sessions, which is supported by the fingerboard with a 12" to 16" compound radius and rounded edges.

Versatile tone with Seymoure Duncan pickups

The electric tone conversion of the Charvel MJ SAN DIMAS STYLE 1 HSS FR E is handled by pickups from Seymoure Duncan. The Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 on the bridge is an absolute classic that lives up to its name and delivers a fat distortion sound for screaming solos and pumping riffs. The humbucker is complemented by two Custom Seymour Duncan Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coils, which deliver authentic, bell-like, light single-coil sounds without any annoying background noise. The straightforward control panel consists of a 5-way switch with a volume control and a tone control.

Last but not least, the Charvel SAN DIMAS STYLE 1 from the Charvel MJ series has carefully selected hardware equipment that can handle even the toughest jobs on the road with ease of use and unshakeable reliability. The compact Gotoh GE1996T tremolo enables robust pitch shifts. Behind the Floyd Rose® 1000 Series Locking, Gotoh Die-Cast also ensures high tuning stability.
