Many tone freaks and pedal-board fetishists told EHX boss Mike Mathews about a pedal that would eventually cause shock-waves in the industry and were only available at exorbitant high prices. They of course were talking about the "Klon Centaur", which today is considered by many to be the most influential effect pedal ever; inspiring the creation of countless Klon Centaur clones.
