A beautiful digital piano with the latest technology. This can be recognized by the fact that it is equipped with a high-performance processor with a 128-fold polyphony. matching high-quality is of course also the piano sound. The DP 2000 digital piano plays perfectly via the velocity-sensitive hammer action. Because if you learned on this piano, you can also sit down at any traditional piano and play in the same way. You play on a weighted keyboard, ie. You feel how, when you press a key, the hammer head hits against a string and makes it sound (simulated, of course). If you snake the key gently, the hammerhead matching is lightly struck against the side and sounds soft and quiet. If you hit the key faster and harder, the sound will be louder and more brilliant. Just like on a "real" piano.
Because even the inexpensive DP-2000 is equipped with a new high-performance processor that has stored a large number of high-resolution piano tones. Strike a key and the sound is recalled from memory and converted into audible sounds via the built-in speaker or headphones.
The right pedal is the most important and is used the most. When you step on it, the note is "held". ie. the note continues to sound ... and then slowly dies out, just like on the real piano. If you did not use the right pedal, your playing would sound very " dry ". Therefore, you will learn to use the pedal already in the first lessons, so that a nice round overall sound is heard. We will explain the function of the other two pedals later!
Who has the piano already in a concert hall? But if you want more of the sound of a large hall, then the DP 2000 offers a function that artificially creates a large room. A great effect.
Especially as a beginner you are happy about variety. Let a string orchestra sound, a delicate harpsichord, a church organ or a trumpet and much more.
