The Fender USA Flea Jazz Bass Active MN Satin Shell Pink is the signature bass of the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist and delivers thunderous grooves between rock and funk. Based on the classic offset design in satin finish, the four-string has an alder body and a screwed neck made of quartersawn maple, which guarantees optimal playing conditions with its "C" profile and compound fingerboard radius. Combined with active Aguilar OBP-1 electronics, the Fender Custom Humbucker also delivers punchy bass sounds for driving slap attacks or grooving finger picking. Last but not least, Fender has equipped the Flea Active Jazz Bass with a 4-saddle HiMass bridge and accurate lightweight vintage tuners.

Classic design and high playing comfort
Based on the traditional offset design, the Fender USA Flea Jazz Bass Active MN Satin Shell Pink offers an alder body with the well-known sweeping lines and a fivefold screwed neck made of maple with standing annual rings (Quartersawn Maple). The combination of the "C" neck profile and the increasing compound radius of the maple fingerboard from 12" to 16" provides optimal playing conditions, which let every groove go by itself.
Fender Custom Humbucker with Aguilar Electronics
The Fender USA Flea Jazz Bass Active uses a specially developed Fender custom humbucker as the pickup. The combination of raw power and a position close to the bridge produces a powerful sound with thundering bass and brilliant treble. An active Aguilar OBP-1 2-band equalizer is also available. Thanks to an 18 Volt operating voltage, the tone control offers an extremely high headroom, while its musical tuning always guarantees first-class sounds even in extreme settings of bass and treble.
HiMass Bridge and Lightweight Tuner
