The sound as well as the playing technique are adapted to modern demands. Fender American Elite Stratocaster EB Olympic Pearl as a pure workhorse for musicians. The electric guitar, based on the original design, received some useful upgrades in the form of a modern compound neck profile, which changes from a slim C-profile in the first positions to a modern D-profile and the fourth generation of Fender noiseless Single coils. The S-1 switch in the volume control now offers even more sound variations, while Locking Tuner short axes promise improved tuning stability.
The classic maple neck Fender American Elite Stratocaster presents the most elaborate design of the Fender line-up. Not only the neck profile follows from the modern C in the low positions to the modern D profile towards the neck foot with wider shoulders for full control over techniques such as bendings and vibratos, but also the compound fingerboard radius of the ebony fingerboard. Accordingly, the 9.5" radius on the saddle offers easy chord play, while the wide 14" radius on the neck foot makes Bendings butter-soft in lead play.
In terms of sound, three Single coils 4th Generation Noiseless in neck, middle and bridge position provide the classic Stratocaster setup. However, the innovative single spoolers suppress annoying background noises such as the infamous '50 Cycle Hum' without denying its unmistakable Strat character. Thanks to the S-1 switch in the master volume, even exotic sound combinations such as out-of-sounds Phase or all three pickups connected in series are no problem for the Fender American Elite Stratocaster .
