The Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS Slow Iced Tea Fade celebrates Gibson the diamond jubilee of the 1959s Les Paul , which, due to its legendary sound, represents the holy grail of electric guitars for all sound gourmets and Vintage enthusiasts. Based on the elegant Singlecut design, the 60th Anniversary model uses Gibson traditional woods and manufacturing methods, so that the electric guitar is not a tribute, but a lovingly reproduced reproduction of the legendary '59 Standard down to the smallest detail. Accordingly, all glued areas are finished with Hide Glue, whereby the mahogany body and neck are complemented by a curly maple top and an Indian Palisander fingerboard. Gibson Custombuckers with -III Alnico magnets and a hand-wired circuit with authentic paper-in Oil capacitors also ensure adequate sound conversion. Last but not least, the Gibson 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard is equipped with the traditional Hardware No-Wire ABR -1 bridge, a tailpiece Aluminium and historically correct Kluson Single Ring / Single line tuners.

Equipped with -III Alnico magnets and unwaxed coils, the pickups deliver moderate output and a warm singing sound that responds to the player with vibrant dynamics, optimally supporting expressive electric guitar playing. The pickups are also controlled by a hand-wired circuit which, in addition to the classic 3-way toggle switch, provides separate volume and tone controls from CTS for each of them Humbucker . Authentic oiled paper capacitors are also used for particularly smooth treble roll-offs.
