The Gibson Burstbucker is the successful result of intensive research into the classic recipe of the legendary PAF humbucker. Two coils, whose number of windings is 'unmatched', so unevenly distributed, provide in conjunction with Alnico II magnets for the unmistakable sound spectrum of the role model. Here, the Burstbucker Type 1 knows how to skilfully play out its outstanding tonal strengths in both the neck and bridge positions. The Burstbucker Type 1 represents classic PAF-Humbucker with a lower number of windings, which gives it the right output for pickup combinations as a neck pickup or a transparent and airy sound in the bridge position.
