With the SG Standard 2017 Gibson T the Gibson USA Factory aus Nashville , Tennessee the flagship version of the legendary rockboard, will be present. In the construction of the Gibson SG Standard 2017 T, the guitar builders follow Nashville the guidelines established in 1961 and produce the characteristically horned body of mahogany, while the glued neck is made of the same material and carries a Palisander fingerboard. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a warm sound with a lively response that puts blues and Rock its stamp on it. Thanks to the " Slim Taper " profile, the freestanding neck, which can be freely played on up to the highest positions, also lies comfortably in the hand.
The Gibson SG Standard 2017 T with the '57 Gibson Classic on the neck and the '57 Gibson Classic + two absolute classics among the Gibson humbuckers are used as pickups. With moderate output and classic Alnico magnets, they deliver a powerful Humbucker sound for blues and Rock whose airy response and warm tone development let the character of the legendary PAFs shine through. The pickups are managed via the proven circuit with 3-way toggle and individual volume and tone controls.
High-quality Hardware equipment completes the Gibson SG Standard 2017 T. This is how the combination established by Ted McCarty of Aluminium Stopbar and Tune -O-Matic bridge, which ensures a perfect adjustment of intonation and string position. From here the strings are led with 24.75" scale towards the headstock, where they are led via the Tektoid saddle to the Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners, which convince with high tuning stability and easy string changes.

Сама гитара очень легкая и весит по моим измерениям 2,94 кг. Начну с головы грифа. Здесь все супер и лучше быть не может. Локовые колки Grover изумительно смотрятся в сочетании с перламутровым логотипом Gibson! Сами колки довольно уверенно держат строй. Верхний порожек сделан из Тектоида. На первый взгляд честно сказать не внушает доверия и сделан как-то топорно что-ли. Но функцию свою выполняет. По окантовке грифа есть небольшие огрехи от работы лезвием. В целом вопросов по грифу нет, всё строит идеально (если хорошо настроить мензуру). По корпусу и электроники проблем не замечено. Железки также в норме. Все работает как часы. Звук без комментариев, это Гибсон, друзья!
