With the Gretsch G6659TG Players Edition Broadkaster Jr Singlecut Bigsby Azure Metallic ., the traditional American company presents a classic and compactly built semi-acoustic electric guitar that is perfect for authentic blues and Rock sounds. The electric guitar has a body made of maple laminate with a solid center block, a comfortably playable maple neck and two Gretsch Full'Tron pickups that deliver powerful sounds on the amplifier. The Gretsch Broadkaster Jr.'s equipment is completed by Gotoh Locking mechanics, a Bigsby String thru Vibrato and a Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge.

Gretsch G6659TG: Compact Semi-Acoustic Electric Guitar
For the construction of the Gretsch G6659TG Broadkaster relies Gretsch on the classic ingredients for a semi-acoustic electric guitar. Accordingly, the compact body is made of maple laminate, whereby the floor and ceiling are connected by a solid center block, so that no feedback occurs even at high volumes. The glued maple neck with the well rounded " Standard U" profile lies comfortably in the hand and allows every lick between the 22 frets of the ebony fingerboard to slip easily when playing electric guitar.
Two Gretsch Full'Tron Humbucker , combined with the typical Gretsch -circuitry, deliver versatile sounds with Vintage -character.

Two Gretsch Full'Tron Humbucker pickups are used on the Gretsch G6659 Players Edition Broadkaster . With their vibrant dynamics and the extremely wide frequency spectrum, these pickups capture the woody resonance of the semi-acoustic construction perfectly and transmit it to the amplifier, so that nothing stands in the way of expressive guitar playing in the wide spectrum of blues and Rock 'n'roll. Additional sound variability is provided by the typical Gretsch circuitry consisting of a 3-way toggle, individual volume controls for each pickup and master volume and master tone controls.
Gotoh Locking Mechanics promise a stable tuning.

The Gretsch G6659TG Broadkaster Jr. from the Players Edition . Hardware Accordingly, the combination of Bigsby String thru Vibrato and Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge sits on the body. This Bigsby offers the proven functionality and decorates chords or melodies with softly shimmering modulations, at the same time it allows a simple string change in which the strings are guided through the Vibrato axis. From the bridge the strings run with 24.6" scale length (625 mm) in the direction of the headstock, where they are led via a Graphtech saddle to the Gotoh Locking machine heads. These not only guarantee an absolutely precise tuning of the electric guitar, but also make string changing extremely comfortable.
