With the name "Armory", the soulless names of numbers and letters have been replaced with a more expressive name. It gives the Mapex hardware a new face. And the Armory name tells you exactly where this heading: "armed" with this pedal, you are ready to face all situations on the stage and in the studio.

Price-performance ratio is still one of the most important topics for Mapex. The features offered for relatively small money are truly impressive:A robust double chain drive guarantees a smooth playing feel and durability. A self-adjusting bassdrum hoop claw fits all common models without sacrificing the angle. The footboard is extra long which increases the torque of the pedal to provide perfect control.

The 800 hardware series does not only offer optimum functionality, it also looks great. Thanks to a special process, the "Black Electro-Plating Process", it is no possible to create extremely robust black hardware for the first time. While a powder coated hardware will show some wear and damage, the Mapex black finish hardware will continue to look great. For the perfect symbiosis with your kit, the new 800 series hardware is available in three versions: black, chrome with black joints and chrome.
