Bass preamp in pedal format with analog tube circuitry and overdrive, including power supply unit
With the Markbass Mark Vintage Pre, the bass specialists from Italy packed the tube preamp of the popular Markbass Little Mark Vintage top into a convenient effects pedal that turns out to be an indispensable sound tool for gigs and recording studio sessions. At the heart of the analog circuitry, a 12AX7 tube colors the bass tone with the warmth and overtone spectrum of the best vintage amps, while a 4-band tone control with three basic filter presets allows you to precisely tune the sound. Fans of distorted bass sounds will be in their element thanks to the switchable overdrive effect, which features drive and blend controls in addition to two characterful voicings. In addition, a serial effects path is available for integrating your own effects fleet into the signal path. For direct pickup of the bass signal, the Mark Vintage Pre from Markbass not only offers a transformer-balanced line out, but also digital RCA and TOSLINK outputs for direct connection to sound cards or audio interfaces. Last but not least, the Markbass Mark Vintage Pre can be used as a practical tool for practicing electric bass thanks to its headphone jack and aux-in.
The highly visible 12AX7 tube of the Markbass Mark Vintage Pre promises first-class bass sounds with a pleasant vintage character.
