The Mayones Jabba Custom 5 EP VF Natural is a V-Fret bass guitar that combines the comfortably playable Jabba design with a modern multiscale construction that promises a perfectly defined sound through optimal scales for each string. Bass For the construction of the five-stringer, Mayones relies not only on first-class tonewoods but also on an impressive burlboard top, while Aguilar pickups and a Darkglass Preamp amp elicit a versatile sound spectrum. On the hardware side, Mayones single bridges, Hipshot Ultralite tuners and Schaller strap holders complete the Jabba Custom 5 EP V-Fret Bass by Mayones.

For the Jabba Custom 5 EP VF Mayones uses the trendy Multiscale construction, which results in the characteristic fanned V-Frets. Each string of the bass guitar has an optimized scale length, so that a precise representation of each tone is guaranteed even with low tunings. In addition to the swamp ash body with burl poplar top, the five-string has a bolt-on maple neck in a comfortable C-profile, which can be played easily up to the highest registers thanks to the sculpted neck foot.

On the bass amp, Aguilar DCB ceramic pickups and the Darkglass Tone Capsule provide multi-faceted sounds with precise articulation.

As pickups for the Jabba Custom 5 V-Fret Mayones chooses two DCB humbuckers from Aguilar. Due to the special construction with ceramic magnets and blade pole pieces, the pickups deliver a finely articulated and full sound that captures every playing detail. To adjust the Bass sound especially precisely, the electric Bass is equipped with the active Darkglass Tone Capsule 3-band tone control. By flipping the mini switch, you also have the option of playing the 5-string Bass in traditional passive mode.

On the headstock of the Mayones Jabba VF, lightweight Hipshot Ultralite tuners provide precise tuning.
