The Monkey Banana Turbo 4 in red is an active nearfield monitor with a 4 inch bass driver and a 1 inch silk dome tweeter.

With their distinctive, custom shaped cabinets comes a rugged, MDF enclosure that ensures dampening of vibrations from the drivers leading to less overall distortion and excellent acoustic performance. The sleek cabinet design is attributed to some serious engineering and a bass-reflex acoustic design for maximum bass extension, which is surprising for a 4 inch woofer. The Turbo 4 also features digital inputs via S/PDIF as well as analogue connections. This allows you to bypass your soundcards converters, and use the specially designed built-in converters that match to monitor perfectly as well as freeing up analogue outputs for connecting other devices.

The Monkey Banana’s high quality silk-domed tweeter can produce accurate highs that extend above the 20kHz hearing threshold meaning there is no slope towards the high end threshold, giving a true representation in the top end.
