The NI Maschine JAM Production and Performance System offers intuitive sequencing and track building in an ultra-modern design. The Maschine JAM allows users to create and manipulate drum sequencing and digital audio using an 8x8 multicolour click-pad matrix and 8 dual-touch Smart Strips, presenting a more pleasing and natural alternative to mouse and keyboard. As it can also be engaged as an advanced DAW controller, this “hands on” approach can be carried over into production and post-production activities.

The 8x8 Click-Pad Matrix is an extremely versatile tool, able to generate drum-patterns and arrangements with ease. Melodies and Chords can also be played on the Matrix, acting in a similar capacity as a standard keyboard. One-Touch access to patterns and scenes can also be applied with the pads of the Matrix.

Looking for a fresh way to create music? The LED-Guided Dual-Touch Smart Strips can be used to play notes and sounds, or adjust up to 8 parameters simultaneously with two hands for unique composition and design possibilities.

The unified hardware and software in the JAM (and, indeed, all Maschine controllers) means that performance of the unit is seamless and therefore never distracting from productivity. Included with the Maschine JAM is the MASCHINE 2.5 software (cutting-edge Drum Synths and a 9GB sound library) and Komplete 11 SELECT (featuring MASSIVE, REAKTOR PRISM, MONARK, THE GENTLEMAN, DRUMLAB, RETRO MACHINES MK2, VINTAGE ORGANS, DISCOVERY SERIES: WEST AFRICA, SCARBEE MARK 1, SOLID BUS COMP & REPLIKA), as well as a choice of 2 MASCHINE Expansions from the Native Instruments web site once the JAM has been registered. This totals an incredible 34GB of data straight out of the box.
